Congratulations to Joyce Farrell and Gordon Wetzstein. Both are being honored by the Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T) for their unique and noteworthy advancements to the field of imaging science and technology and/or the Society.

• Joyce Farrell received a fellowship "for outstanding achievement in imaging science, active participation in organizing Electronic Imaging conferences, and working tirelessly to transcend barriers and create spaces where companies and universities can convene to share knowledge.” Joyce is a Senior Research Associate in the Stanford School of Engineering and the Executive Director of the Stanford Center for Image Systems Engineering (SCIEN).
   
• Gordon Wetzstein received the Raymond Bowman Award for excellence in imaging education. His citation reads, “for fostering, encouraging, and helping students develop their careers in imaging science through teaching, short courses, and continuously involving them in the presentation and networking experiences offered by the Electronic Imaging Symposium.” Gordon leads the Stanford Computational Imaging Lab and is a co-director of the Stanford Center for Image Systems Engineering.
