Katie Neilson (EE PhD candidate) was selected as one of TECHCON's Top 10 Best Student Presenters.

TECHCON 2024 hosted more than 200 posters and presentations, all showcasing the innovation and tenacity of the students driving the future of technology. TECHCON announced the winners of the undergraduate and graduate presentation awards in September.

Katie is a member of Professor Eric Pop’s Pop Lab. Katie's current research interests include the growth and characterization of high-mobility and under-studied 2D materials (such as InSe), for transistors and other heterostructure devices.
