On May 4th, we gathered a team of lab64 student makers with EE faculty members and went up to the Dish! We got to learn about the Dish’s history and hear a presentation on how it was used to detect pulsars. We then toured the control room and got to command the reflector! At the end of our tour, we climbed up to the mezzanine and enjoyed an amazing view of campus and the Bay.
